were y'all aware that andrew robinson kept a diary written in character as garak to help him develop his acting. were you aware he turned it into a full length novel and published it. were you aware the entire “diary” is actually a series of letters each formatted as “my dear doctor,”

Last Pathfinder session, I got to give my players a magical item- a dollhouse that provides the party with a manor in which they can find shelter and rest by turning the characters doll-sized. In elvish runes, inscribed on the bottom of the dollhouse, is written “Polly’s Pocket Dimension.”

Tomorrow they get to find out what Polly’s been up to this whole time. >:)

I love when creators make an effort to not fire their actors

  • Brooklyn Nine Nine – When Melissa was pregnant, the writers did their best to hide her pregnancy (having her stand in behind tables, holding bags next to her stomach, or even just pretend that Amy was pregnant). But when hiding Melissa’s pregnancy got too hard, the writers just decided to make her pregnant (even throwing a few jabs at themselves when it came to hiding her pregnancy).
  • The Owl House – When Gus’s voice actor was going through puberty, instead of hiring a new voice actor, he just went through witch puberty so his voice actor could continue to be Gus.
  • Parks and Rec – When Chris Pratt had to work on Guardians of the Galaxy, instead of writing out Andy’s character, the writers had him work in London until Chris was ready to come back.
